Dorothy Dandridge's STAR Ceremony was wonderful! Altovise Davis (Mrs. Sammy Davis Jr.) was standing next to me and my daughter Lawrencia Dandridge was in her stroller. I enjoyed seeing Everyone who attended and many of them are now gone. Dorothy Dandridge is also one of the Silver Statues on the corner of Hollywood Blvd and LaBrea Ave along with Mae West, Anna May Wong and Dolores Del Rio at the Beginning of the Hollywood Walk of Fame (The Gateway to Hollywood Sculpture 1993). My client Earl Mills wrote the Biography about my cousin Dorothy Dandridge which became the HBO Movie "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge" starring Halle Berry who did a fine job bringing her story to Life again! Marilyn Monroe and Dorothy Dandridge were friends in their lifetime and that fact is depicted in the HBO Movie. Peter Lawford of The Rat Pack (which included Frank Sinatra, Joey Bishop, Dean Martin & Sammy Davis Jr.) was a Pallbearer at Dorothy Dandridge's Funeral. I Love The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and always Invite Everyone to become a Member and also to Visit Hollywood and Take photos with the STARS on the Walk of Fame!
